In the early years, play is a child’s main way of learning and developing.
At this age your toddler is on a path of self-discovery and is starting to form connections based on how they interact with the world around them. They become aware of social behaviour, empathy and begin to form friendships.
Our early years educators recognise the need for opportunities for the toddlers to participate in experiences that involve challenge and risk taking within a safe and secure environment. Our weekly program designed by our highly trained educators will reflect the needs, strengths and interests of the cohort.
Our Toddler Room is a dynamic, fun-filled learning environment, where children and their families feel comfortable, respected, and supported.
We will inform families of their child’s developmental progress through verbal feedback, developmental summaries, and individual portfolios, which are constantly updated.
A Day in the Life of the Toddler Room
Children thrive with routine and structure in their lives.
Through routines children can develop a sense of autonomy and self-help skills. Children begin to anticipate their daily routines and become familiar and comfortable within their patterns.
