Up 'N' Grow ELC Philosophy

At Up ‘N’ Grow we believe that all children are unique and learn through different means and methods.

We provide an environment that promotes resilience, self-worth and a sense of belonging by referring to the three themes central to the early year’s framework- Being, Belonging, Becoming.

We offer a high-quality, holistic learning environment in which all children will feel safe, nurtured and stimulated, in turn encouraging them to explore, question, and grow with knowledge and confidence.

At Up ‘N’ Grow we focus on your whole child, including their physical, social, emotional, language and cognitive development.

Our carers encourage secure attachments and trusting relationships, by providing an inclusive environment, that embraces diversity and multi-culturalism. We understand that the continuity and consistency of your child’s care is a critical key to your child feeling safe, secure and cared for. ,

We believe that families are the first educators of children, therefore our team of qualified early years educators work in partnership with parents and educators to share ideas, seek advice, gain feedback, and give support. We encourage children to develop connections and relationships with their community that will continue into their schooling years and beyond.

At Up ‘N’ Grow we focus on sustainability, recycling and self-sufficiency.  The children are encouraged to plant and tend to fruit and vegetable gardens. The children are also involved in cooking experiences which use the produce from their gardens.

We believe that even as adults we never stop learning, therefore our Early Years Educators are encouraged to build their professional knowledge by offering them opportunities to participate in ongoing learning and development opportunities.
