Enrolment

At Up ‘N’ Grow Early Learning Centre we understand that childcare fees and the Child Care Subsidy (CCS) can be difficult to understand, and working out how many hours of subsidised care each week your child is entitled to can be challenging.

Therefore, we have designed a simple and flexible fee structure that offers choice to our families, making childcare more accessible and affordable.

We offer 3 sessions of care each day:

9 hours- 8:30am-5:30pm

10 hours- 8:00am-6pm

12 hours-6:30am-6:30pm

The start and end of these session can be adjusted to suit individual needs. By allowing parents to choose the hours of care that work for them, precious subsidised hours are not wasted.

EXAMPLE OF ENTITLEMENTS

Jane has a 2-year-old who needs to be in care 3 days a week. Jane is entitled to 27 hours subsidised care per week.

As our service offers a 9-hour care day, Jane is able to utilise the flexibility offered and use her 27 hours of subsidised care over the 3 days, rather than using 12 hours of subsidised care a day, that she just doesn’t need.

Ready to Enrol?

When you are ready to enrol your child, you will receive an enrolment pack which will outline the key information you will need to know. You will be required to fill in an enrolment form which is extremely important and will enable the Centre to give your child the best possible individualised care. Enrolment can be done in person at the centre or online, and we will guide you through the form after you have visited the centre and met our team.

Child Care Subsidy

The government created the Child Care Subsidy to make the cost of child care more affordable. The amount of child care subsidy your family receives depends on many factors including:

  • The family’s income estimate
  • How many children the family has in care
  • The age of the children in care
  • The family’s activity level
  • The type of care the family uses

New in CCS

Changes from 1 July 2023

Most families will benefit from the recent changes to the Child Care Subsidy. These changes include:

  • The maximum amount of CCS is increasing from 85% to 90%.
  • Families earning $80,000 or less will get a CCS rate of 90%.
  • Families earning over $80,000 get a CCS rate that decreases by 1% for each $5,000 of family income. This rate reaches 0% for families earning $530,000.
  • Families earning below $362,408 with more than one child aged 5 or under in care can still get a higher rate for their second and younger children.
  • Families with an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander child in their care can get at least 36 hours of subsidised care per fortnight.

Our Fees

Up ‘N’ Grow’s fees start from $134 per day, based on a 10-hour session, with a child in care for a minimum of 3 days a week.

Selecting a different combination of days or sessions may result in increases or decreases to daily fees.
